Sales Associate - StoreSales Associates are to greet and thank every customer who enters and leaves the store. Sales Associates must be knowledgeable of all product lines. Sales Associates are also responsible for keeping the store neat, clean, and all merchandise properly displayed. Sales staff will support management in completing price changes, leveling, display resets and all basic visual standards needed to ensure a neat and clean store.Duties and responsibilities include:Support the "Cavender's Culture" and drive our Mission, Vision, and ValuesProvide friendly, courteous customer service and satisfaction by using professional and knowledgeable selling techniquesAvoid high pressure selling tacticsMaximize selling opportunities with each customerKeep abreast of the latest fashion trends in the western wear industryKeep work area neat, clean, and organizedBe knowledgeable about CBC policies and proceduresKeep updated on sale promotions (items/prices/etc.)Help stock merchandise and straighten store as neededReport to work promptly and neatly groomedBe security conscious at all timesAlways scan product to ensure everything is in its correct area, signed correctly and neatly displayed. Associates in the boot department should always check for mismatesWork with customers who return product for an exchangeProvide knowledgeable responses to customer inquiries (e.g. boot and clothing fit, sale promotions, price, product workmanship and inventory)Perform all other duties as assignedWork with supervisors to understand all actions needed to impact the desired goals set by the company (i.e. ADS / UPT's / Company or Vendor contest)Qualifications and requirements include:Job requires associate to raise or lower objects from one level to another regularly during shiftAbility to comprehend basic instructionsAbility to interpret documentsAbility to apply abstract principles to a wide range of complex tasksAbility to understand the meanings of words and effectively respondAssociate must be able to read English.Associate must be able to understand EnglishAssociate must be able to stay alert during work hours assignedCavender's is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
