Total weekly compensation: $3,266.00

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team in Morristown, NJ. As a travel RN, you will provide exceptional care to laboring patients and their newborns while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to experience different healthcare settings and contribute to diverse patient care scenarios.

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care during labor and delivery.
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure the health and safety of both mother and baby.
Administer medications, including epidurals and other interventions as needed.
Provide emotional support and education to patients and families throughout the labor process.
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute patient care plans.
Respond to emergency situations with appropriate interventions and protocols.
Document patient information accurately and comprehensively in electronic health records (EHR).

Requirements:

Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of New Jersey.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work well under pressure.
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
