Shifts: overnight 7 on / 7 off - Wed-Tuesday 6:45pm-7:15am
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology
- 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience
- Florida Medical Technologist license (MLT)
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
- Able to work overtime/other shifts as needed
Plusses:
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems
- Ex: Cerner, Instrument Manager (Abbott Architect cl4100, Abbott ID NOW, Sysmex XN-500, Stago Satellite, Clinitek Advantus)
- Blood bank experience
Day to day:
A client of Insight Global’s is looking for a Medical Lab Scientist to join their team in Pensacola, FL. Their duties will include:
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
- Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
- Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
