Our mission is to help students excel academically, build a strong foundation in core subjects, and achieve their college and career goals through personalized instruction and test preparation.Position OverviewWe are seeking a certified and experienced Math Tutor specializing in SAT/ACT preparation for students in grades 6–12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced mathematics and a proven track record of helping students succeed in standardized tests. Expertise in Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Statistics (including AP levels) is essential.If you are passionate about teaching, skilled at tailoring instruction to diverse learning styles, and committed to student success, we’d love to have you join our teamKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver the GenNext Math curriculum with excellence and adaptability.Teach Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Statistics (including AP levels) to middle and high school students.Provide focused, strategic instruction for PSAT, SAT, and ACT preparation.Assess and monitor student progress to ensure achievement of learning goals.Create a positive, motivating, and supportive learning environment.Communicate regularly with parents and the GenNext team regarding student progress.Drive effective test preparation strategies to help students achieve top scores.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of teaching experience with high school students.Preferred experience in PSAT, SAT, and ACT test preparation.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to engage and motivate students with creativity and patience.Passion for teaching and results-oriented mindset.Job DetailsType: Part-timeSchedule:Weekdays (Monday–Friday) after schoolWeekends (Saturday and Sunday)Education: Master’s degree (Required)Experience: 5+ years teaching (Required)Work Location: In-person at McKinney, TXAdditional Job Application TermsThis job is part of LinkedIn’s Full-Service Hiring beta program.
