Our unique model enables us to deploy our resources to build over the long term.What is the RoleWe are looking for someone to lead DCG's early stage venture activity in Enterprise AI, reporting to the Head of Venture Investments.What You'll Be Responsible ForIdentify opportunities and run the investment process, including initial contact, commercial due diligence, presenting to the investment committee and working with the legal team on legal due diligence and deal documentationStaying current on key trends in AI and crypto across multiple markets (with a focus on the US) as well as anticipate new trendsManage, grow, and maintain a deep network of relationships with top VCs, founders and other industry players to stay at the cutting edge of AI and cryptoTesting, measuring and iterating on alternative investment sourcing channelsWork with post-investment platform team to ensure DCG is value-add to portfolio companies in AIBuild the DCG brand in Enterprise AI, leading relevant PR initiatives and raising our profile at eventsWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree (finance, business, engineering or related field), advanced degree preferred6 10 years of relevant experience in early stage investing, fintech, crypto or AIStrong understanding of venture capital through prior experience as a VC investor or as a startup operator having raised from venture capitalDemonstrated interest in crypto; prior experience in fintech/crypto/AI a plusEarly stage VC network (AI, web2, web3, fintech, crypto) and very good at relationship building and managementAbility to build a broad network, learn quickly and keep on topic of emerging trends in a face-paced industryFounder empathy and understandingEfficient and self-directedOpen-minded yet decisiveCollaborative and a team playerExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalMust be able to work out of the Stamford, CT office at least 2-3 days per weekWhat We OfferInspiring colleagues and an invigorating startup environmentCompetitive base salary, bonus, and incentive compensationCompany paid health insurance for employee, partner, and dependentsLife insurance, short-term & long-term disability coverage401K planPre-tax transit and parking programPre-tax flexible spending program for medical and dependent careFlexible time off and paid parental leaveNew water-front office with world-class perks and amenitiesLocation: Stamford, CTWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
