As a Sr. Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 2000 employees across 40 states, analyzing data, and troubleshooting any payroll related issues. This is a 3-month contract position with a hybrid work schedule: 3 days a week in the office in downtown Dallas, TX 75201.


Senior Payroll Analyst (contract position):

Responsibilities:

  • MUST have the Payroll Module of Workday

• Processing payroll through Workday for both US and International employees.

• Managing payroll for newly acquired companies and integrating them into our system.

• Ensuring accurate data entry and resolving any payroll module issues.

• Conducting variance analysis over each payroll, identifying the cause of any discrepancies, and taking appropriate action.

• Using Excel for data analysis, including pivot tables and v-look ups.

• Handling payroll for multiple states and understanding the unique tax requirements for each.

• Collaborating with various teams to ensure all data entries are accurately reflected in the payroll module.

• Analyzing and improving payroll processes for efficiency and accuracy.

• Working with quarterly taxes as a backup to the payroll tax specialist.

• Using the EIB tool for data uploads in Workday.


This position requires a combination of in-house payroll & payroll analyst skills with a MUST have for Workday. They also have an implementation for one of their entities into Workday that someone could assist the manager with.
