Overhead Crane OperatorWe are seeking an overhead crane operator to join our team. The primary responsibilities include unloading semis, staging products, and handling products after they have been cut to length. The role will eventually expand to include plasma cutting and operating cut-to-length machines. You will support operators with materials and handle them after processing. The warehouse is old school and experiences temperature fluctuations due to constant door operations, being hot in the summer and cold in the winter. However, the benefits provided far outweigh this issue. The position involves a 90-day contract-to-union arrangement. You will work in a full-time capacity with shifts available: 1st Shift from 6 AM - 2:30 PM or 2nd Shift from 2:20 PM 12:50 AM, Monday to Thursday. Off shifts will train on the 1st shift for up to one month, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Safety training and paperwork are conducted on the first day. Steel toe boots with non-detachable metatarsal covers are required.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.05/hr.
