This role is ideal for a strategic finance professional with demonstrated expertise in process improvement, optimization, and variance analysis who thrives in a cross-functional, business partnered environment.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret contractual agreements and determine appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with company policy and GAAPPrepare and book journal entries based on agreement terms and work performed, ensuring accuracy and complianceConduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends, drivers, and opportunitiesArticulate the financial story behind the numbers, providing actionable insights to leadershipSupport decision-making through clear, data-driven financial analysisSupport month end close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliationSupport fixed asset accounting processes for our operating business unitSupport regulatory reporting and internal controls to ensure complianceNextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
