This position is for an Energy start-up company located in San Jose, CA and is an on-site position for someone looking to join an up and coming company at the forefront of innovation in their field. You'll lead Thermal Modeling, within the R&D team.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Thermal and Mechanical analysis
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics, Finite Element Analysis
  • Develop Heat Transfers models
  • Collaborate with engineering team to establish thermal and system requirements
  • Define thermal requirements for components and systems
  • Develop design practices and documentation


Experience Required:

  • Experience building first of a kind systems
  • CFD and Thermal FEA Modeling
  • Modeled a product from the ground up
  • Design prototyping
  • Worked with high-temperature materials
  • Heat transfer: Conduction, Convection and Radiation
  • Fluid Dynamics
  • Experience with ANSYS


Qualifications:

  • BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical discipline
