Physical Security SpecialistThis position is with the Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency. The salary range is $93,445 to $121,482 per year, with a pay scale and grade of GS 12. The location is Pearl Harbor, HI, and the job is not remote but eligible for telework as determined by agency policy. Occasional travel is required, and permanent change of station expenses will be reimbursed. The appointment type is term, not-to-exceed 36 months, and it is a competitive service job.DutiesThe duties include conducting security awareness training, managing security awareness training for all DLA Installation Management personnel, conducting physical security inspections, advising on physical security issues, preparing updates and briefings for senior DLA Installation leaders, participating in antiterrorism vulnerability assessments, and reviewing military construction plans.RequirementsRequirements include being a U.S. citizen, having a secret security clearance, being registered for Selective Service if male, and having a REAL ID or other acceptable identification documents. The position is obligated, and occupancy may become permanent if the former incumbent does not return.QualificationsTo qualify for a Physical Security Specialist, your resume must support specialized experience in security and intelligence programs, security education and awareness training, and physical security surveys and inspections. Education substitution is not allowed for this grade level.
