Description:

Quality Control Technician

Responsible for the testing of food samples using various analytical techniques and reporting results to operators or product developers during production.

Additionally, technician must be able to perform postproduction analytical testing on retain samples and report results using online data reporting system.

Technician Duties Include:

• Daily calibrations on analytical equipment and maintaining calibration records
• Data interpretation and reporting of results during production trials
• Analytical testing for water quality
• Support Microbiology lab with sample collection, testing and data interpretation.

Required Job Skills:

• 1-2 yrs experience in a lab setting.
• BS required. Preferred in Chemistry or Biological Sciences.
• Ability to execute bench work under minimal supervision
• Plan, set up and report postproduction results in a timely manner to product developers
• Ability to proactively and positively interact with cross functional groups to communicate out results during production and postproduction.
• Must be well organized, capture work details and demonstrate a food safety mindset
• Must be proactive, reliable and self-motivated
• Work in a group or closely with the scientists/developers responsible for the assigned projects and tasks.
• Proficient in MicroSoft word, Excel, Ppt.
• required onsite Mon.-Fri.
