The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.The Executive Creative Director of LinkedIn is a visionary leader who will shape how the LinkedIn brand is expressed across channels and audiences. This role combines strategic insight with creative excellence and will be responsible for strengthening LinkedIn's brand identity, engaging diverse audiences, and delivering compelling campaigns that support business growth. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in brand storytelling, digital innovation, and integrated marketing across global B2B and B2C environments.Key responsibilities include:Lead the development and execution of innovative, integrated marketing campaigns that align with brand strategy and business objectives.Oversee creative direction for all marketing initiatives, including advertising, digital, experiential, performance, social, and event marketing.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-brand, product marketing, performance marketing, media, social, and communicationsto deliver compelling work that capitalizes on channel best practices.Inspire and manage a high-performing creative team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Champion the brand voice and visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touch points.Stay ahead of industry trends and cultural moments to bring fresh thinking and insights to creative work.Monitor and engage with new AI technologies to drive productivity and scale, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.Advocate for the customer, infusing insights that capture attention and drive engagement.Manage relationships with external agencies, production partners, and freelancers to deliver best-in-class work and build a streamlined ecosystem for creative development.Establish and monitor creative KPIs to measure effectiveness and optimize performance.QualificationsBasic Qualifications12+ years of experience in creative leadership roles within marketing, advertising, or brand strategy.5+ years of experience leading high-performing teams, including managing people managers.BA/BS degree.Preferred QualificationsProven track record of leading successful, award-winning campaigns across multiple channels.Exceptional storytelling, conceptual thinking, and design sensibility.Demonstrates inclusive leadership by fostering LinkedIn's culture and values, cultivating an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and empowered.Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and mentor creative talent.Deep understanding of digital platforms, generative AI, new creative technologies, content strategy, and audience engagement.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with global teams.Passion for innovation and pushing creative boundaries.Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.Understanding of modern marketing measurement systems/tracking and willingness to drive teams/agencies to meet or exceed marketing KPIs.Suggested SkillsContent MarketingCreative ServicesChange ManagementLeadershipApplication Process: Interested candidates should submit a resume, portfolio, and cover letter outlining their creative philosophy and leadership experience.LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.The pay range for this role is $214,000 - $335,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
