Our staff is comprised of exceptionally talented team members who bring these clients' meaningful messages to life.We are looking for an Experiential Brand Director to help lead and grow our experiential practice at Boncom. In this role, you'll oversee the design of physical brand experiencesexhibits, installations, and immersive environments that tell our clients' stories. This position requires someone who can balance big creative ideas with the operational rigor of making things happen. You'll lead projects from concept through installation, managing budgets, timelines, vendors, and cross-functional teams. You'll be a key client partner and build meaningful relationships. The ideal candidate brings strategic thinking and enthusiasm for leading creative, production, and client teams to make ambitious ideas real.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (Marketing, Communications, Design, Architecture, or equivalent)8+ years of experience in experiential design, branded environments, or exhibit designProven track record of leading physical brand experiences from strategy through delivery, with a portfolio that demonstrates projects you've directedStrong client management skills with experience presenting to and building relationships with senior stakeholdersDemonstrated experience managing complex projects including budgets, timelines, vendor relationships, and cross-functional teamsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and sell ideas with confidenceStrategic mindset with the ability to translate brand positioning into spatial storytelling and guest journey designWorking knowledge of experiential design processes, fabrication, and productionenough to direct specialists and contractors effectivelyComfortable leading workshops, creative sessions, and client presentationsAbility to thrive in a collaborative team environment and support where neededProven leadership capabilities, including fostering collaboration and promoting a positive team culturePassion for purpose-driven work and a genuine interest in clients whose missions prioritize social good, behavior change, or public benefitNice-to-Have Qualifications:Experience with visitor centers, museums, or exhibit installationsFamiliarity with immersive technologies (projection mapping, interactive installations, AR/VR elements, etc.)Understanding of ADA compliance, wayfinding, and universal design principlesSelf-starter who thrives with autonomy and takes ownership of outcomesComfortable receiving and applying feedback in a fast-moving creative environmentInnate curiosity about how people move through and interact with physical spacesExcellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skillsResourceful, proactive, and energized by turning ambitious ideas into realityRole Responsibilities:Lead experiential strategy and creative direction for client projects, ensuring alignment with brand goals and audience needsDevelop guest journey frameworks, spatial narratives, and experience concepts that translate brand stories into physical environmentsManage projects end-to-end: scoping, budgeting, scheduling, production oversight, and on-site installation coordinationDirect the work of designers, fabricators, technologists, and other vendorsproviding clear creative direction and quality controlServe as the primary client relationship lead on experiential projects, building trust through responsiveness, strategic counsel, and flawless deliveryCollaborate closely with Boncom's Creative, Strategy, Production, and vendor teams to deliver integrated solutionsIdentify and vet vendor partners, negotiate contracts, and manage third-party relationships throughout project lifecyclesDevelop and present compelling decks, proposals, and experience design deliverablesChampion innovation by staying current on trends in experiential marketing, spatial design, immersive technology, and audience engagementHelp grow Boncom's experiential practice by refining processes, building case studies, and mentoring team membersGreat Benefits:Medical, Dental, AD&D, Life, and Vision Insurance401K (with a company match)Company sponsored retirement programTuition reimbursementCharitable donation matchingPaid time off and 12 paid holidaysFlexible scheduleFully stocked kitchen and cateringHybrid working: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays work in the office; Mondays and Fridays work remoteWe believe that our work, our organization, and each of us as individuals is better when our perspective and worldview is diverse, broad, and empathetic.
