Job Title: Clinical Staffing Coordinator Shift: Evening/Night (8/12-hour shifts) Weekends: Every third Schedule: Set per 4-week period; may vary Assignment Length: Contract through April 2026 with potential for hire Pay Range: $20-$22/hour Location: Saint Paul, MNPosition SummaryThe Clinical Staffing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels across patient care units by developing and implementing staffing plans, addressing emergent needs, and maintaining compliance with union contracts and organizational policies. This role works closely with nursing leadership to optimize workforce resources and support safe, efficient patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesStaffing Planning & CoordinationProblem-Solving & Resource AllocationCommunication & ComplianceProfessional StandardsQualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred. Experience: 2+ years in a centralized staffing office or similar role. Hospital administrative experience preferred. Experience staffing union employees preferred. Skills & Abilities: Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with frequent interruptions. Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
