About the Company and Senior Accountant Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team and help drive our financial operations to the next level.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management, highlighting key insights and trends.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting procedures.
Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:
- Experience: 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Qualities: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Additional: Knowledge of tax regulations and experience with audits is highly preferred.
