Today, we help seniors live life to the fullest by providing exceptional care services and a lovely place to call home sweet home.We are seeking a qualified, compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of prior experience working in a nursing home, and must demonstrate a genuine interest in providing care to elderly people. This position involves multiple duties, including taking vital signs and recording information about patients, helping patients with daily living activities and responding to patient needs in a timely manner.ResponsibilitiesIncorporate medical and nursing procedures and recommendations into working activities.Provide safety, comfort, and assistance to residents in one or more patient care areas in a nursing home.Perform activities that promote the physical and mental health of residents of a long-term care facility.Provide for the personal hygiene and safety of residents.Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate activities designed to enhance the physical and social activity of clients.Accommodate the need for assistance to clients who require assistance in performing activities of daily living.Communicate with the client, family members, other health professionals, and members of the community involved in care to develop an individualized plan for care.QualificationsCertified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificationExperience in nursing home settingsProficiency in taking vital signs accuratelyKnowledge of basic life support proceduresFamiliarity with EMR and EHR systemsUnderstanding of medical terminology and documentationAbility to provide patient care with compassionExperience in catheter careHIPAA compliance knowledgeStrong communication and interpersonal skills
