They are hiring for a Supply Chain Expeditor to support with confidential mega projects across the US. You can be based in any of the following locations for this role:


  • Sacramento, CA
  • Mississippi
  • Atlanta, GA
  • DFW or San Antonio, TX
  • Nashville or Memphis, TN
  • Greenville, SC
  • Jacksonville, Orlando, or Plantation, FL
  • Birmingham, AL


Experience managing the supply chain process and vendor relationships for mechanical, electrical, and other construction equipment is essential.


Key Responsibilities

Material Procurement:

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement specialists to identify material and equipment requirements for construction projects.
  • Initiate purchase orders and procurement requests based on project specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.


Order Tracking and Status Monitoring:

  • Monitor the status of purchase orders and track the progress of material orders from placement to delivery.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers and vendors to expedite order processing and ensure on-time delivery of materials to project sites.


Logistics Coordination:

  • Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements for material deliveries, including scheduling shipments, arranging for transportation, and coordinating site access for deliveries.


Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of material inventory levels, including quantities on order, in transit, and in stock.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder points, initiating replenishment orders as needed to avoid stockouts and production delays.


Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors, serving as a point of contact for order inquiries, issues, and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve quality issues, discrepancies, and shipping errors, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.


Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain organized documentation of purchase orders, invoices, delivery receipts, and other procurement-related records.
  • Prepare regular reports on material procurement and delivery activities, including order status, delivery performance, and inventory levels.
