Job SummaryThis exciting opportunity awaits you in our state-of-the-art facility, where you will serve as a faculty member at Loma Linda University and educate medical students, residents, and other providers.
Duties and Responsibilities- Apply professional theories, assessment methods, and techniques to care for ill patients with podiatric medical and surgical problems.
- Develop coherent treatment strategies and incorporate new clinical procedures.
- Provide video appointments (VVC) and offer professional advice on treatment of podiatric conditions.
- Supervise and manage staff, including students and residents.
- Assess qualifications and abilities of employees and provide effective interpersonal relationships.
- Diagnose and treat medical and surgical disorders using quality care techniques.
- Responsible for initial evaluation, workup, history, physicals, and admission of podiatric patients.
- Perform various podiatric surgical procedures and supervise students and residents.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide emergency podiatric surgical procedures.
- Provide patient education and informed consent.
- Document electronic charting, daily documentation, and outcomes reporting.
- Consult with Medical Center staff on patient-care issues.
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or department discretion. Actual schedule determined by supervisor based on organization needs.
