How you grow, learn and thrive matters here.• Educational and career development options, including tuition and certification reimbursement, scholarship opportunities• Staff Safety (a wearable badge that allows nurses to quickly and discreetly call for help when safety is a concern)• Differentials for night/weekend shifts, higher education, certifications and various lead roles (for eligible positions)• Malpractice liability insurance• Loan forgiveness through the New Mexico Higher Education Department • EPIC electronic charting systemType of Opportunity:Full timeFTE:0.9Job Exempt:NoWork Shift:Varied Days and Hours (United States of America)Job Description: • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with mobility, and supporting activities of daily living Administer prescribed medications, injections, and IV therapies under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. • Assist in dressing changes, wound care, and post-surgical care according to physician orders. • Observe and report changes in patient conditions, including symptoms, reactions to treatments, or changes in vital signs. • Work closely with RNs, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans for patients. • Provide patients and families with instructions regarding post-discharge care, medication regimens, and follow-up appointments. • Adhere to infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and sterile techniques. • Assist in responding to patient emergencies and follow protocols to ensure timely and appropriate care.
