International Admission And Financial Aid DirectorCentre College is seeking a Director of International Admission and Financial Aid for its Danville, KY campus. The Director will be responsible for counseling and assisting prospective international students and their families in the admission process, managing international and domestic geographic territories to meet recruitment goals, directing and managing the application review and selection process, carrying out daily operations of the office, and the development of projects as assigned. The Director will also be responsible for managing the financial aid process for international applicants, including the review of financial aid application materials and the allocation of need-based aid funds to qualified applicants. Specific duties include:Direct and manage the international recruitment team in the international student recruitment process, including travel to key high schools.Conduct virtual recruitment activities, including informational meetings and sessions, and interviews with students.Conduct 6-8 weeks of international recruitment travel in the fall and 2-4 weeks in the spring. This position is responsible for planning and preparation for travel and must possess knowledge of the requirements and guidelines for international travel. Limited domestic travel may be required for presentations, workshops, and events.Educate prospective students, parents, high school counselors, community partners, and others on the benefits of a premier liberal arts and sciences education and residential college community.Counsel prospective international students regarding Certificate of Eligibility documents and required travel documents when scheduling a campus visit.Counsel international students regarding the Certificate of Finance Form required for the international application process. Educate international students and families on issues of cost and financial aid.Conduct market research to inform recruitment policies, practices, and strategies.Coordinate activities of the international recruitment team to meet international application and enrollment goals.Establish and maintain relationships with partnering organizations and prospective agents to advance international recruitment efforts.Direct and manage the international recruitment team in reading and evaluating international applications for admission and scholarships. Review and evaluate international transcripts based on knowledge of various international educational systems.Requirements:Must have at least a Bachelor's degree in International Studies or closely related field and at least one year of experience working with computer software programs, spreadsheets, electronic calendars, and virtual resources.Must also have demonstrated experience in understanding, analyzing, or forecasting international student recruitment from any of the major global markets.Valid driver's license is required.International and domestic travel required at least 20% of the time.To apply, please visit the College's Employment page at https://www.centre.edu/about/employment-centre.
