Must have basic English communication ability.The Custodial / Repair position will perform basic repair functions in our shelter rooms, clean rooms as needed, wash change linen as required, perform light repair work in and around the Garden St shelter facility.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCleaning of classrooms, offices, and bathroomsPerform necessary duties as neededSweeping and moping of floors, removal of trashCleaning of windowsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTSHigh School DiplomaAbility to speak Basic English.Excellent communication skills.Excellent organizational skills.Strong ability to utilize a high level of time management and handling multiple tasksPerform assigned task as determined by supervisor.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSMust be 21 years or older.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basisAbility to grasp, push, and/or pull objectsAbility to reach overheadAbility to lift - up to 50 lbs.Ability to process written, visual, and/or verbal informationQualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
