Our Team

Our team aims to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions. We develop custom machine learning and AI-based algorithms to improve product development, marketing techniques, supply chain optimization, and business strategies as just a few examples. Utilizing predictive modeling, we work to optimize revenue generation, product development, and other business outcomes while constantly striving foster a delightful customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a dynamic and engaging team of Data Scientists, AI Engineers and Software Engineers to develop and deploy AI applications
  • Learn and develop tools available within our cloud infrastructure to both make processes more efficient, and our AI applications more powerful.
  • Develop internal applications utilizing Large Language Models, RAG techniques and agentic AI architectures.
  • Work with our Platform Engineering team to develop and support Generative AI APIs.
  • Extract key information from unstructured, natural language and multimodal datasets.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineering teams to build robust ML models and associated data pipelines

Moreover, you will work to ensure that these solutions are built using tools and processes that enable each subsequent solution to be created more quickly and effectively.

Additionally, staying educated on the latest advancements in the machine learning and AI field will enable you to create a longer-term roadmap, positioning Lexmark at the forefront of technological innovation.

Lastly, you will work within an agile team structure to set yearly and quarterly goals. You will work together to plan biweekly sprint work items. You will also work together with various functional teams and stakeholders throughout the organization to jointly achieve business outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

The skillset to be used on the job are listed below. A strong candidate will have a BS in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience, plus a good foundation in some or all of these areas plus the desire to learn the others.

  • Technical Skills
    • Natural Language Processing and Generative AI
    • Programming (likely Python, SQL, Javascript, Typescript)
    • Working with cloud-based tools such as Azure and Databricks
    • Machine Learning, Deep Learning
    • Data visualization (likely pBI)
    • Database and data structures familiarity
  • Soft Skills
    • Communication & organizational skills
    • Experience with SAFe and Agile development principles and processes
