Advanced Energy has devoted four decades to perfecting power for its global customers and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.Position SummaryThe Regional Marketing Manager is a leader in growing AE's market position through their understanding of key accounts, markets, technologies, and future market/technology directions. In addition to market research, the Marketing Manager works directly with strategic customers, Factory Applications Engineers, and AE's field teams to intimately understand the current and emerging market technologies and trends. This role works closely with the Director of Marketing, the Product Group GM, and the Product Management Team in defining market and product/roadmap strategies to gain market share and grow AEs business. The Marketing Manager is accountable for AE successfully executing against growth strategies in their markets.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand market segments, trends, and emerging technologiesUnderstand market technologies sufficiently to allow engagement with key industry technologistsMarket share goals and strategies to achieve these goalsCompetitive assessment, including market share, strengths and weaknesses, and competitive strategiesIdentify market opportunities and portfolio gapsIdentify market requirements and work with Product Management, Applications Engineering and Design Engineering to define AE's product and technology roadmapsKey relationships in strategic accountsStrategic accountsTotal Relationship Management (TRM) and Roadmap MeetingsKey role in the annual strategic planning process, defining market/region size, growth, and inflection points, and working with the Marketing and Engineering Managers to define strategies that align with AE's corporate strategic goalsWorking with Product Management to develop product positioning, value propositions and differentiationServe as consultant to peer groups within AE (Applications Engineering, Product Management, Design Engineering and Sales) in support of new product development and new business opportunities.Must be able to influence decisions and actions with customers as well as AE's Management TeamsWork with diverse cultures to build strong relationships within AE, with AE's customers and with the worldwide industry leadersExperienceEssential: 7+ years of customer interactionEssential: 7+ years in a marketing, technical or sales position in plasma processingDesirable: Working with foundries or semi equipment manufacturers in a marketing, key account technologist, or field manager role/capacity.EducationBachelor's degree in engineering, material sciences or plasma processesCompensationAs required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
