Store Development LeaderStore Development Leader leads a project team and is responsible for effectively planning, managing, and overseeing the process and project activities for store renovations, new stores, relocations, special projects, and expansions. Incumbents must travel to all project sites to ensure accuracy and proper completion.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Oversee multiple renovations, new stores, relocation, and expansion projects.Ensure success of daily on-site operations by directing and informing team members.Meet and exceed project scorecard standards and district management expectations.Provide timely reports to District Managers and Store Development Managers regarding the status of projects.Partner with and support other Store Display Leaders.Oversee all post-renovation/post-opening/post-relocation and expansion punchlist by partnering with the business owners.Maintain a safe working environment at job sites.Implement new procedures, best practices, useful tools, and efficiencies for all projects.Follow all Company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:Strong communication skills.Ability to manage others.Ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment; and must be able to adapt quickly to change.Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple, complex projects.Knowledge of sequencing and merchandising.Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to see implications and provide solutions and recommendations.Must be able to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships across all levels.Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.Must be able to travel including driving and flying.Ability to manage personal and company expenses due to travel.Working Conditions:Must be able to work non-traditional hours.Ability to travel up to 100% of the time to specific project locations. Overnight travel is required. Work schedule to include up to 14 days consecutive.Must be able to operate small power tools.Ability to lift to 60 lbs.Ability to climb, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.Full time Chesapeake, Virginia Store Development Family Dollar
