Spotless Cleanliness/pulliSparkling Clean Workspaces: All areas, both front and back of the house, should be kept clean and well-organized./liliPitching In: Cleanliness is a team effort Everyone may expect to pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed, to ensure the hotel is well-organized and safe./liliHospitality While Cleaning: Always greet every guest happily with a smile, by name if possible, while cleaning./li/ulp3. Product Consistency Quality/pulliChecklists to 100% Accuracy: All operational checklists are completed accurately and at the designated times, every shift./liliShift Handover Reports: Handover reports must be accurate and on time, for effective shift-to-shift communication./liliFlawless Uniform: All Team Members must wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed per the Team Member Handbook, while wearing a nametag and smiling at all times./li/ulp4. Teamwork/pulliCommunication: Communication between Team Members should be clear, honest, and professional./liliCan Do Attitude: Willing to stretch beyond traditional role to meet the needs of the business and MCRs guests./liliCollaboration: All Team Members at all levels must be committed to working together to create a welcoming environment for guests and an effective, positive workplace./li/ulpSECTION TWO: Executive Housekeeper, Role Specific Duties and Expectations/ppThe Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overall cleanliness and friendly service of the entire Hotel including, but not limited to, all guest rooms, public areas and facilities, storage rooms, guest and house laundry./pulliOversee Housekeeping Team: Complete daily stand-up with the team each day to review objectives and confirm checklists are assigned and prepared for the day. Every deficiency should be rectified, and team members should be trained and held accountable for meeting criteria for cleaning, per the checklist, daily./liliSchedule Management: Complete the room assignments for all housekeepers each day, confirm all rooms are cleaned, inspected and marked correctly in the PMS (Property Management System) and available for sale./liliStatus Reports: Balance and clear the room status nightly, comparing the PM Housekeeping Report with the computers room status report and resolve all discrepancies in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper./liliStorage Rooms: Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of all storage rooms, mechanical rooms, housekeeping closets and main housekeeping laundry room./liliMaintenance Requests: Monitor work orders and submit to Engineering department according to procedures./liliSupply Management: Maintain required stock of all housekeeping and laundry supplies by ordering all needed supplies and amenities on a monthly/quarterly basis./liliInventory: Conduct monthly and quarterly housekeeping inventories on a timely basis./liliLost and Found: Maintain and monitor Lost and Found procedures and policies according to standards./liliAssign supervisor duties, via approved checklist, each day and verify all items have been completed and checked for quality./liliChemical Safety: Monitor proper use of and compliance with hazardous chemicals according to OSHA standards./liliComplete Daily Objectives: Opening the department, assigning, and distributing housekeeper boards and keys, inspecting guest rooms, closing the housekeeping department./li/ulpSECTION THREE: Success Metrics/ppHappy Guests/pulliManagement Performance Ratings/liliGuest Satisfaction Scores/Intent to Return/li/ulpSpotless Cleanliness/pulliGM/AGM Spot Checks/liliLeadership Walk-throughs (RVP, etc.)/liliGuest Ratings/Reviews/li/ulpProduct Consistency Quality/pulliChecklist Tracking/liliManagement Performance Ratings/liliGuest Ratings/li/ulpTeamwork/pulliManagement Performance Ratings/li/ulpSECTION FOUR: Qualifications Requirements/ppQualifications:/pulliExperience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred. Supervisory experience preferred./liliCan-Do Attitude: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn./liliAbility to Follow Guidelines: Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures./liliHandle Pace and Pressure: Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations./liliListening, Conflict Resolution: Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests./liliCommunication Skills: Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly./liliHospitality and Guest Service: Must have a desire to serve all guests./liliAge Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job./liliSchedule and Travel: Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based upon the demands of the hotel./liliClock-in/Out: Arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time, unless otherwise directed by your immediate supervisor. Never work while off the clock./liliBreaks: Clock in/out for breaks at the designated time on your schedule./liliCall Outs: Provide sufficient notice as directed by your supervisor when calling out for a scheduled shift./li/ulpPhysical Working Demands Working Environment:/ppThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
