As part of our team of "Punks," you'll test the status quo, explore new boundaries, and set the bar high for how government clients expect to engage with contractors.Contributions:Be responsible and accountable for all the operational delivery across the sectorProvide operational support, leadership, and guidance in the current and future operations of the sectorLead a growing team of program, project, and technical leaders in providing best in class IT servicesIdentify and hire the absolute best leadership we can find for our client delivery teamsSupport, train, and mentor program and project managers for success in the performance of their workQualifications:Required:An entrepreneurial desire to build a businessAn informed opinion on what leadership is (and is not)A leadership philosophy/methodologyExperience collaborating with sales, business development, recruiting, contracts, and finance in the pursuit of new contracts/proposalsExperience collaborating with program managers, project managers, and clients to improve the delivery of services and create "client delight"Experience in training and mentorship of project and program managers in the performance of their dutiesExperience being responsible and accountable for the P&L of your area of responsibility10+ years of Program and/or Operations Director/VP experience leading federal IT services work across multiple agencies/componentsAbility to obtain a U.S. government Security ClearancePreferred:PMP, Scrum Master certification preferredFederal Clearance PreferredAbout Steampunk:Steampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $200,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position. Annual salary is just one aspect of Steampunk's total compensation package for employees.
