About the job OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-Occupational TherapistOC THERFull-Time Occupational Therapist candidates will have the following job responsibilities: You will provide evaluations and treatment interventions within the scope of practice established by law and professional code of ethics. You will assess and evaluate therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status. You will participate in patient placement and in the development of the total plan of care. You will provide purposeful and skilled interaction care. You will use procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physicians plan of care. You will observe and report patients reaction to treatment and changes in patients condition. You will communicate pertinent payor needs/requirements to physician, treatment team, patient and patients family in a timely manner. You will prioritize caseload, determine daily staffing needs and coordinate assignments/handoffs. JOB QUALIFICATIONS-Occupational TherapistOC THERFull-Time Occupational Therapist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Occupational Therapy (OT) Bachelors Degree MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YR OF OT EXPERIENCE WHETHER IN ACUTE CARE, INPATIENT OR REHAB (please specify on submittals) ONSITES ARE MANDATORY
