Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Chicago, Illinois. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to all safety protocols. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth flow of goods from receipt to dispatch, contributing directly to the success of our supply chain operations. You will coordinate with various departments, manage inventory, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.Responsibilities: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance. Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates. Manage inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits. Implement and enforce strict safety procedures and protocols to minimize workplace accidents. Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all staff. Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely movement of goods. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency. Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety guidelines. Assist in developing and implementing logistics strategies to improve operational performance. Prepare reports on warehouse activities and performance metrics. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise. The Warehouse Coordinator must be proficient in warehouse management systems and possess strong leadership and communication skills. A keen eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential. This position requires physical stamina, including moderate Lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
