We are looking for a Engineering Manager to join us at medmix Healthcare US Inc., at our new Greenfield Site located in Flowery Branch, Georgia USA. This exciting opportunity will allow you use your skills to identify areas of improvement and propose recommendations to management. You will lead and drive the implementation of your recommendations and assess its impact to the business. Job Description

This position is responsible for the Engineering Management of the Flowery Branch facility to include Manufacturing and Engineering. The position will report to the Site Lead.

Qualifications

Main accountabilities and tasks

Responsible for the overall management of the Engineering Group to include but not limited to:

  • Identify safety problems and institute solutions.
  • Plan, organize and manage projects as related to the manufacturing equipment and process.
  • Organize project teams, assigning individual responsibilities
  • Create and track project timelines
  • Maintain project budgets
  • Developing project schedules and determining resource requirements
  • Monitor and report on the status of projects including cost, timing and staffing
  • Ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards
  • Identify and resolve obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
  • Manage multiple, interrelated projects
  • Integrate vendor tasks into the project plan and track and review vendor deliverables
  • Responsible for start-up equipment operations to include specifications, installation, validation and manufacturing operations of equipment.
  • Raw material sourcing for molding process.
  • Plant Facility Maintenance
  • Plant Equipment Maintenance
  • Manufacturing Molding Operations support
  • Manufacturing Assembly Operations support
  • Manufacturing Packaging Operations support
  • Work with Quality department to ensure specification compliance
  • Hands on problem solving and leadership with creative and innovative engineering solutions.
  • Perform additional special projects and assignments as assigned by Site Lead.
  • Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection, and continual improvement
  • To be able to work safety and follow all safety guidelines.
  • Personal management including assignments of plant priorities, projects, strategic direction, goals and objectives, reviews and people management.


Desired experience and qualifications

Work experience: 10-12 years operations and engineering experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent education or experience in similar role

Other:

  • Good problem solving and organizational skills and proven ability to prioritize responsibilities and processes
  • Experience working with large complex data
  • Detail oriented as related to a project or task, perform work accurately and thoroughly and to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be self-directed and motivated to optimally utilize the available time to organize and complete expected work within given deadlines and reasonable work schedules.
  • Communication skills, both oral and written, as required to communicate effectively with others at all levels in the organization and to provide clear and concise reports and policies as needed. Ability to effectively present information publicly.
  • Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
  • Work well on team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, e-mail systems and other computer programs
