ResponsibilitiesAscension St. Vincent's is looking for a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor for our Westside - Behavioral Health department.
Responsibilities:
Provides behavioral health counseling services.
- Conduct patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.
- Administer individual and group therapy.
- Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.
- Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
- Work directly with the patient, family, physician, and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
Additional Information:
Specialty Training not required but a plus include:
- EMDR / Marriage Counseling / Therapy for Children
- Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 pm - In office - or - Virtual visits from office
- Patient load = 7 patients per day

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
