Material HandlerWe are seeking a dedicated Material Handler who is responsible for managing the movement of materials within a warehouse environment. This role involves consistent lifting, picking and packing items, and operating a forklift.Responsibilities:Consistently lift and move materials as required.Efficiently pick and pack items for shipment.Operate forklifts, including clamp and sit-down types, to manage inventory.Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment.Ensure materials are palletized and shrink-wrapped for safe storage and transportation.Essential Skills:Experience with general labor tasks in production or construction environments.Certified forklift operator with experience in forklift operation.Proficient in picking, packing, and using a pallet jack.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with shrink wrapping and palletizing.Ability to perform tasks involving consistent lifting.Why Work Here?Join a work environment that offers steady hours, ensuring reliable and consistent work schedules.Work Environment:The position is based in a warehouse environment, where you will handle various materials using specialized equipment and adhere to safety protocols.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson, CA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
