Target Start Date 2/1/2023 Target End Date 8/31/2024 A hospital in central Pennsylvania has an opening for a Physician Assistant to provide Emergency Medicine locum coverage. Opportunity Details:Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 9a-9p, 7p-7a) Wide variety of ED patients with focus on lower acuity Patient Mix: 80% adult, 20% peds EMR: Cerner Paid travel & lodging Must have minimum 2 years experience If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply.QUALIFICATIONSBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Active unencumbered NP or PA Pennsylvania state license Graduate from a fully accredited PA or NP program One year of work experience as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner One year of Cerner experience Board Certified SKILLS/ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks. Requirements: COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
