They manage the development, management, and implementation of the facility EHS programs in compliance with regulatory agencies. Responsible for evaluating, updating, implementing and enforcing the site EHS programs and policies as well as adherence to state and federal health/safety regulations. Directs safety/environmental compliance with Regulatory agencies. Drives ongoing compliance efforts, improvement plans, and continuous improvement strategies. Plays a key role in leading safety performance across the plant, develop, and drive injury reduction initiatives. Performs safety surveys and inspections.
