Our work includes enterprise and mission IT, intelligence systems, command and control, geospatial and data analytics, cybersecurity, logistics, training, and intelligence operations support. We solve the worlds toughest security challenges in support of cant fail missions./ppPrimary Responsibilities/pulliSupport 2nd shift operations (approximately 3:00 PM 11:30 PM) at our Huntsville, AL assembly facility. Occasional 1st shift or weekend support may be required during critical manufacturing periods or training./liliPerform quality inspections to verify that optical components, mechanical assemblies, electrical cables, and integrated hardware meet drawing and specification requirements./liliCollaborate closely with engineering and production teams in an interactive, team-oriented environment./liliWork in a fast-paced development and production cleanroom environment with minimal supervision./liliEnsure nonconformances are properly documented and coordinate final dispositions with engineering./liliPerform additional duties as needed, including receiving inspection, shelf-life material tracking, First Article Inspections (FAI), End Item Data Package compilation, and part measurement using standard inspection equipment./li/ulpBasic Qualifications/pulliHigh School Diploma or GED with 35 years of relevant experience in quality inspection or assembly, integration, or testing of high-performance systems (e.g., aircraft, launch vehicles, spacecraft, submarines)./liliAbility to work 2nd shift as the primary schedule; initial training may occur on 1st shift./liliU.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance./liliProficiency with standard inspection and measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, multimeters, magnification tools, black light inspections)./liliAbility to interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning Tolerancing (GDT) requirements./liliExperience witnessing test procedures and generating inspection/test reports./liliAbility to read and interpret drawings, schematics, models, and specifications./liliProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)./liliAbility to lift and carry up to 25 lbs./liliAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment./liliAbility to pass a visual inspection eye exam./liliMust reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Huntsville, AL area./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications/pulliActive Secret security clearance/liliExperience with spaceflight hardware (optics, satellite systems, electronics, cleanrooms)/liliCertified Quality Inspector (CQI)/liliExperience performing First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102/liliExperience working within an AS9100-certified environment/li/ul/div
