Construction ManagerThe Construction Manager will demonstrate management/leadership abilities including: training, team building, job management, district administration, and effective interaction with customers. This position is responsible for providing vision, leadership and direction to installers. Set and manage productivity and performance expectations for direct reports. Must be able to motivate employees; maintain and enhance a positive work environment utilizing management best practices.

Ensure safety and industry training is current and documented for all techs and that they have all the appropriate information prior to arrival at the job site. Maintain schedule of installers and track hours assigned to projects. Work in conjunction with the Operations team to complete work as needed. Provide accurate project status updates during WIP meetings.

Conduct regular job site safety walkthroughs and EHS evaluations as well as accident investigations. May help interview and/or evaluate employees and apprentices. You must be proficient in developing business strategies, implement action plans to meet and/or exceed corporate goals and objectives. Set goals and objectives for subordinates, communicate expectations to employees and periodically review subordinate's performance.

Required: 5-10 years of management experience dealing with Fire Alarm Installation in commercial industry. NICET Certification license 3 or greater. Project Management experience. Estimating Experience.

Knowledge of P&L a plus. Experience or knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products. Good written and oral communication skills. Proficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening, drug test and MVR.

Hiring salary range

$94,600-$130,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
