Staten Island, United States St John's Residence For Boys Full time
If you are a caring medical professional of good moral character, dedicated to helping and supporting youth we have an opportunity for you St. John's provides residency for some of NYC most vulnerable youth. You may be the next great member to join the medical department at our caring agency.

This essential role is a full-time, permanent, benefit eligible position that works a 35-hour work week, Mon-Fri w/ some overtime and on-call as needed.

Education Requirement: Minimum High School diploma required; must hold NYS LPN diploma/ certification/licensure. Confirmation of completed NYS infection control coursework is also required.

Brief Overview: St. John's is a small, non-profit, family style child welfare agency providing care to youth and the LPN is an intricate member of the onsite medical department and helps to ensure compliance with service, treatment and medication management within the department and reports to the agency RN. If you are seeking meaningful Nursing work outside of the traditional, hectic hospital setting this is the perfect opportunity. While LPN expertise is essential the daily engagement is at a less stressful pace and affords both the LPN and resident the benefit of true one on one engagement/ service. The LPN assumes responsibility for the department in the absence of the RN and serves as a guide and support to the department staff. Primary duties include routine and emergency care/treatment for our resident youth as related to their medical/ health needs, in the new TRC program.Learn More
