To affect the procurement of routine to moderate goods and services in a prompt, accurate, and professional manner. To procure commodities assigned in response to the requirements set forth by the University in accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia directives of higher education restructuring manual and regulations, ensuring that quality goods and services are purchased in a timely manner at a reasonable cost.Minimum QualificationsConsiderable knowledge and experience with; e-procurement and automated procurement systems; public procurement laws, policies and procedures; conducting formal classes/training; conducting departmental audits conducting research and analysis. Working knowledge and experience with small purchase charge card and travel cards Proficient communication skills, both orally and in writing. Considerable knowledge and experience with spreadsheets and database software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
