Superintendent of ConstructionWe are seeking a Traveling Construction Superintendent for immediate openings on commercial construction projects nationwide. This role involves overseeing on-site construction activities while actively engaging in hands-on carpentry work.Responsibilities:Oversee and manage on-site construction activities.Coordinate and manage subcontractors, labor, and materials on the construction site.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project plans.Perform basic carpentry tasks, including framing, installation/repairs, Misc Metal work, finishing, and repairs.Collaborate with the project manager to achieve project goals within the specified timeline.Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site, actively participating in safety initiatives.Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and support to the construction team.Essential Skills:Proven experience as a construction site supervisor with hands-on carpentry skills.Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.Ability to lead and coordinate on-site construction activities effectively.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Basic understanding of project management principles.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Relevant certifications in carpentry or construction supervision are a plus.Ability to manage and prioritize tasks while working in a dynamic construction environment.Experience with construction management software such as Procore.Work Environment:This position requires 100% travel.
