Job Summary: We are seeking a thorough Receiving Clerk for our busy New York City, New York distribution center. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring that all shipments are accurately received, inspected, and documented. This critical role in our **logistics** chain requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, identifying damaged or incorrect items, and entering received goods into our inventory system. You will work closely with our inventory and shipping teams to ensure a seamless flow of goods. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and possesses excellent communication skills. A strong understanding of warehouse **safety** protocols and the proper use of **PPE** is essential. Maintaining a clean and organized receiving area. Adhering to all company **safety** procedures and guidelines. Operating basic warehouse equipment as needed. Ensuring all required **PPE** is worn and used correctly. This role involves standing, walking, and occasional **lifting** of up to 50 pounds.
