Physicians Assistant/Nurse Practitioner ENT

Central Oregon ENT is excited to announce we are expanding and have a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner opening.
We are looking to full a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner role in Klamath Falls.
In this role, the PA, under the physician/surgeon supervision, will be responsible for examining patients, prescribing medicine, and ordering diagnostic tests.
As a PA with COENT, an example of the basic responsibilities are:
· Interview and examine patients to provide direct assessment, and determine a diagnosis.
· Order tests to ascertain the nature and extent of illnesses and injuries.
· Provide a treatment plan as appropriate.
· Prescribe medications and suggest lifestyle changes to remedy medical problems.
· Complete records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
· Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
· Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential (HIPPA compliance).
· Serve and protect the physician or practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
· Master’s degree.
· Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
· At least 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced clinic, hospital, or similar healthcare setting.
· Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Demonstrated ability to interact with healthcare professionals and patients.
· Strong technical skills.
· Bilingual speaker preferred.
