As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.+ Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents as per Allied Universal procedures.+ Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required.+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while on patrol.+ Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols to maintain a secure environment within the food and beverage facility. Minimum Requirements:+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
