CMA - Certified Medical Assistant

Join Carolinas Fertility Institute as a patient-centered CMA/RMA with excellent people skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in women's health, office procedures, and electronic medical records. This full-time position involves occasional weekend and holiday shifts, with training in Winston Salem and Greensboro clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Abstract patient charts
  • Clean and set up rooms between patients
  • Perform blood draws
  • Take patient vitals
  • Room patients
  • Chaperone
  • Assist providers with procedures
  • Place instruments in autoclave area
  • Open charts and flow sheets in EHR
  • Enter lab orders into EHR
  • Enter IUI notes and dictations
  • Verify notes and images have been ported to patient chart in EHR
  • Medical scribe when required
  • Pack biopsies and samples for send out
  • Scan CMA paperwork
  • Help answer incoming calls
  • Return patient phone calls and emails

Requirements:

  • Completion of CMA/RMA course and maintaining certification as medical assistant
  • 2 years of experience as a CMA
  • 1 year of experience in women's health (OB/GYN)
  • BLS certification (preferred)

Work Details:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating weekends
  • Weekends as needed

Location: Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Relocation is required before starting work.
