Based in New York / Los Angeles, the ideal candidate will:Support new asset-based deal opportunities with an analysis of capital structure, borrowing base, credit profile, market comparables, and industry researchDevelop targeted prospecting lists; join Senior Transactors in client and prospect meetings to develop and sustain enduring relationshipsAssist in the creation of pitch materials; screen opportunities; propose appropriate structures; work alongside Underwriting to green light transactions; draft and negotiate term sheets with clients (interfacing with legal counsel); work with underwriting partners to help shepherd internal approvals; negotiate legal documentation and manage an efficient closing processInterface with banker coverage and other partners to coordinate execution of transactions and to effectively meet deal timelinesDevelop strong partnerships with internal constituents within the Independent Risk, Syndication, and Coverage teams; maintain a high level of credibility with key stake holdersExhibit business and credit judgment as well as to provide balanced assessments in working with internal team members and partnersMaintain a strong attention to detail and complete work in assigned timeframes.Requirements:A minimum of 5 years of experience in Asset Based FinanceBachelor's degreeFINRA Licensing - SIE, Series 63 & 79 (current or ability to obtain)Skills:Strong financial, analytic, and credit skillsExperience in working with complex capital structuresTeam player, able to facilitate strong partnershipsExcellent written and presentation skills
