Description Become part of an inclusive organization with over 40,000 teammates, whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of the unique communities we serve.Summary:EH&S Technicians perform RCRA Hazardous and UniversalWaste activities at the main campus and suburban sites. These positions supportthe implementation of safety and environmental compliance by identifying safetyhazards and risks, while helping to ensure teammates are informed about safeworking practices. Responsibilities also include involvement with JointCommission safety tracer rounds and comprehensive environmental, health, andsafety inspections. Responsibilities:1.Assists with maintaining the Environment of Care and Life Safety Code.2.Supervises Rex's RCRA Hazardous and Pharmaceutical Waste Program .3.Supervises Rex's Universal Waste program ensuring (batteries, ballasts, UV lamps, aerosol cans are stored and shipped per regulation).4. Maintains hazardous waste manifests and par level for hazardous waste containers.5. First responder for fire, chemical, pharmaceutical, and hazardous waste spills.6.
