Job Summary: Join our thriving logistics operation as a Material Handler in Chicago, Illinois We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to support our warehouse activities. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. You will utilize equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport materials throughout the warehouse. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient flow of goods and supporting the overall logistics process. This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting, often exceeding 50 pounds. Adherence to all Safety guidelines is critical; you will be trained on proper lifting techniques and the use of safety equipment. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is also an essential part of your duties. You will work as part of a team, collaborating with other warehouse staff to meet daily operational goals. Experience with operating various types of warehouse equipment is a plus, but on-the-job training will be provided for qualified candidates. You must be committed to wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times to ensure your Safety and the Safety of others.
