As a Security Officer - Telecom Badge Specialist in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer assigned to an access control post in a cutting-edge technology, media, or telecommunications environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. Your responsibilities include verifying credentials, managing badge access, and delivering exceptional customer service to all individuals in the location. What You'll Do: Monitor and control access to the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities. Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures. Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting visitors, employees, and vendors in a professional manner. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed according to protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual or suspicious behavior. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Support emergency response activities, assisting with evacuations and/or other site-specific emergency protocols when appropriate. Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives about security-related concerns or incidents as required. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
