Queens Centers for Progress is seeking to hire a Floating Residential Supervisor/QIDP to oversee the day-to-day operations of the organizations OPWDD-regulated residences for persons with intellectual & developmental disabilities. This key position reports to the Area Coordinator and Residential Director.SUMMARY OF POSITIONQCP has a recipe for a successful Floating Residential Supervisor/QIDP. The key ingredients that you will need to join our team:BA/BS Degree in the human services fieldTwo years experience in an OPWDD program working in a supervisory capacityStrong coordination skills to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, including holidays are met. You will conduct periodic unannounced shift visitsTeam player ready to hire, train, coach & discipline staff. We look forward to seeing what managerial style you will bring to QCPSchedule and facilitate meetings, including staff meetings, clinical/management meetings, resident meetings, etc. If you have mastered the zoom platform, that is a plusSupport our individuals to ensure their rights, health, safety & personal outcomes are being met under guidance of the IDT Team, providers & OPWDD guidelines. In addition, ensures an appropriate and individualized treatment plan is developed, monitored and revised as neededThe ability to strategically plan & execute the Agency's philosophy, policies & proceduresCommit to working 40 hours per week and available for off hour emergencies to support the program. The schedule includes working one weekend daySelf starter with the mindset to motivate staff to handle the changes in the field of OPWDD.
