Our innovative programs are as entertaining as they are educationalJob SummaryAs a Mad Scientist, you will lead students through an inquiry-based discovery methods involving instructor demonstrations, hands-on activities, and amazing take-home projects that will illustrate how science affects the world around us. Mad Science is the world's leading provider of fun science programs for elementary-aged children.ResponsibilitiesDeliver 1-hour after-school science enrichment programs using a pre-set, easy-to-understand curriculum.Each session is high-energy. It's part entertainment, part education, through a hands-on after-school class that meets for one hour each week for 6 or 8 weeks.Schedule and PayYou will be scheduled on programs close to home two or more afternoons per week.Mileage reimbursement policy for any program over 25 mile round trip.$40 for every 1.5 hour program.RequirementsExperience working with children.A reliable car.Fun and outgoing personalityMust be comfortable undergoing a background check.Availability 2 or more afternoons per week between 2:30-5:30PM.Mad Science is a powerhouse brand with locations around the globe For over 35 years, we have sparked imaginative learning through our summer camps, birthday parties, in-class workshops, after-school programs, and special events for kids ages 3-12.
