Multimodality Tech Radiology

Performs CT, Radiographic, Fluoroscopic, Barium exams, joint injections, C-ARM, O-ARM examinations and Bone Density procedures according to department protocols. Participates in PI CQI activities. Aids in callback coverage for after-hours exams. Responsible for the independent operation of CT ,Radiographic, Fluoroscopic C-ARM, O-ARM, examinations and Bone Density equipment, including but not limited to: equipment maintenance, reporting equipment failures and performing quality assessment (QA). Performs venous contrast injections with little or no assistance.. . Responsible for the independent operation of CT, x-ray equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations. To include but not limited to; equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA). Complete EMR/PACS records accurately to facilitate the interpretation of the examination performed. The CT Multimodality Technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. Has an understanding of Radiation Safety and ALARA . Participated in JACHO, CDPH and ACR inspections and guidelines, Exhibits excellent customer service skills for our patients and physician referral base, co-workers and others with whom they interact. Must have ARRT (R)(CT), California State Licensure including CRT (RT) California State Licensure Fluoroscopy permit preferred Must have current California State Approved Venipuncture Certificate with demonstrated proficiency Must have current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS CPR/AED and maintain throughout employment Two years of CT experience preferred
