Working together, let's put our time and talents together to advance human health for tomorrow.The District Service Manager position will be responsible for providing strong leadership for a team by driving a culture of exceeding customer expectations to deliver outstanding customer service; thus accelerating the growth of Life Science product placements and service revenues. Must work cross-functionally and build cohesive relationships with Customer Service, Technical Support, and Sales. Facilitating a strong Service-Sales partnership is a critical component.District Service ManagerAs a District Service Manager, you'll lead a high-performing technical service team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving operational excellence, and achieving business growth. This position reports to the Senior Manager, North America Field Service and is part of the US Field Service organization covering the Southeastern region/territories. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Customer Success & Escalation Management: Resolve complex customer issues with urgency and precision. Champion a "first-time fix" mindset to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty.Team Leadership & Development: Inspire and grow your team through coaching, mentoring, and clear development plans. Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.Operational Excellence: Lead by example in driving daily management and KPI performance. Identify root causes of systemic issues and implement sustainable solutions using DBS tools.Business Growth & Financial Performance: Drive revenue growth through service agreement sales and lead generation. Collaborate with Sales to support strategic initiatives and optimize service offerings. Manage district P&L to meet profit targets.Process Improvement & Innovation: Champion kaizen and DBS methodologies to streamline operations and enhance service delivery. Partner cross-functionally to develop value-driven service packages.The essential requirements of the job include:Bachelor's degree or Military equivalent (E-6 or greater) with 6+ years exp. OR Master's degree in the same with 5+ years exp.This role is fully remote, associate must live inside of the District region in Southeast. Able to travel 25% - 50% of the time within region and/or business unit locations within the United States.Inclination and ability to listen to various stakeholders (e.g. Customers, Sales) and generate actionable insights.Deliver results while quickly adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen challenges.Communicate expectations regarding performance and hold people accountable for results.Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills.Commercial experience, including direct selling of products or services. The annual salary range for this role is $115,000-$130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
